Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility is the military fuel storage that is operated by the U.S. Navy. Red Hill facility houses 20 steel-lined, incased in concrete, underground storage tanks that can hold up to 250 million gallons of fuel. In November 2021, the Red Hill Storage Fuel Tanks fire suppression system began to leak and contaminate the drinking water into the area.
