In 1890, the Ewa Plantation Company began when they were granted 11,000 acres of land by Mr. B.F. Dilingham with also the hopes of creating a future hauling business. There were 22 wells bored and 775 acres of sugar cane was planted at Honouliuli and ʻEwa. |
